Upcycled Copper Space Heater Lamp

$225.00 / Sold Out

These were made in the 1920s by Landers, Frary & Clark in New Britain, Connecticut. It measures approx. 16.75" high, the round copper reflector is 14" in diameter, and the base diameter is 10 5/8".

The copper reflector has the "Universal" center plate and there is a handle on the top of the back side for carrying. The reflector swivels about 270 degrees front to back and also turns side to side. The base plate is very ornate and beautiful (see photos). It comes with the original cord which is in very good condition. The makers identification plate is on the back underneath the handle and reads, "The Trade Mark Known in Every Home, Universal, Volts 117/25, No. E9937, Watts 625, Made in USA, Landers, Frary & Clark, New Britain, Conn. U.S.A."

I've up-cycled this into a lamp using the original switch, which has been rewired. Its a beautiful piece with original patina. This was a custom order for a repeat customer.
